Sleigh ride with surprise!

Of course, the main attractions of Zakopane are the marvels of Mother Nature herself, so it's time to leave the hubbub of the town behind and make the most the great outdoors!
Our mountain tours are led by licensed regional guides who know the region like the back of their hand. They're passionate about what they do, and they're confident that you'll leave the range as big a fan of the scenery as they are.
What's important here is that we always tailor the treks to suit personal preferences. Whether it be a rambling day out for the whole family or a hardy adventure in the style of a nineteenth century explorer - we'll make sure that the pace is right. And of course, you can rest assured that you're with experts who are absolutely in tune with the shifts in the seasons - our routes are tried an tested, and have evolved through decades of exploration by local highlanders.
Where are the safest trails? Where are the most exciting ones? And where do you find the most outstanding beauty? All these questions can be swiftly answered, although when it comes to beauty - well, there are plenty of contenders.
Most of our tours are devised for groups that can range from 1-10 or 1-25 people. Naturally, the toughest trails are best undertaken in small, tight groups. Lunch is included in the price, as of course, even the hardiest ghurka needs an energy boost at various points in the adventure!

Some suggestion
We're more than happy to answer all of your queries over the email, but for now, here are some very brief itineraries of a handful of our mountain treks. You can choose between a rambling trek of four hours or a full days trip in the upper reaches of the Tatra range.

Gentler Hikes

1) A pleasant meander through the foothills of the mountains. Options include the charming Dolina Potopu Bialego (The Valley of the White Brook), Dolina Malej Laki (The Valley of the Little Meadow), as well as trips into mysterious caves and up to scenic stretches such as Kalatowki. Suitable for a family.

2) Rambles through rousing scenery. Popular routes include the delightful Chocholow Valley, a part of what has become known as the Pope's Trail. Pope John Paul II loved this region and he returned here many times as Pontiff. He is reputed to have skied every mountain in the range! We move on to Morskie Oko (The Eye Of The Sea) and there is also a chance to reach the fringe of Kasprowy Wierch mountain. This walk is a little more taxing than the former, and less advisable for young children.

Groups up to 25 Persons: 1400 PLN
Tour Time: All Day

More Adventurous Hikes

These are not as suitable for young families. Nevertheless, you don't have to be a He-Man to get through the treks! Challenging and memorable. We can organize groups of up to 25 people. Full day trips!

1) A tour of some of the regions fantastic lakes. We begin with Morskie Oko (The Eye Of The Sea), which was romanticized by many nineteenth century poets, painters and patriots. Then on to the Czarny Staw Gasienicowa (The Black Lake of Gasienic).

2) A more taxing hike that takes you to the glory that is Czerwony Wierchy.

Groups up to 25 Persons: 2200 PLN
Tour Time: All Day

For The Serious Mountaineer!

These last options require the most stamina and are generally aimed at groups of no more than 10 people. You'll need to put aside at least a day for these. Serious trips that are seriously rewarding!

2) An awe-inspiring hike into the realm of the highest mountain in the Polish Tatra range - Mount Rysy (2499 metres above sea-level). We pass through the Valley Of the Five Lakes on the way. Then it's the legendary Orla Perc (The Eagle's Path), a taxing ridge that affords wonderful views over the surrounding range. On to Rysy!
